Hi! I’m Rakshit.

I work in product commercialisation at Mastercard, where I lead Europe-wide GTM for a $500M+ payment operations intelligence product line.

These days, I’m particularly interested in understanding how AI is evolving, with a focus on the economics and underlying characteristics of foundation models.

I also spend a fair amount of time building small side projects and experimenting with agents across a range of personal workflows and use cases.

This Substack is a public log of my observations, experiments, and evolving thinking as I try to make sense of what may be the most consequential technology of our time.

I call it abstractions because I attempt to reduce these complex technical ideas into simpler mental models, both for myself and for anyone else who finds them useful.
